The good, the bad, and the Red

Happy Valentine’s Day! I don’t know about you, but when I think of a holiday devoted to love, I think of the Cold War (Freud would probably have a field day with that).

So, maybe you’re spending today alone or maybe romance just isn’t for you. And maybe you’re just not feeling these romantic songs people keep throwing at you. Maybe you’re not feeling the “I had my heartbroken” songs either.

This playlist, inspired by US-Russia relations both past and present, might be just what you’re looking for. Sure to fill your anti-love needs, it features a range of tracks from upbeat pop songs about lowkey hating someone to angry rock verses that are sure to let your ex/enemy/political adversary know that they aint shit (and you will destroy them).

Great songs on this playlist include (but are not limited to):

“The Good, The Bad And The Dirty” by Panic! At The Disco
“Can’t Play Dead” by The Heavy
“Kiss With A Fist” by Florance + The Machine
“Very Good Bad Thing” by Mother Mother
“Novocaine” by Fall Out Boy
“Running Up That Hill” by Placebo

Click here to listen to “Good, Bad, Red,” and immerse yourself in a Cold War Valentine’s Day. You could also follow Prejudice & Politics on Spotify for more playlists like this.

Have fun—and don’t be shy about asking me why I added a track or whose persecptive (America’s or Russia’s) I believe a song best fits.
